The Best things to Buy in May - LifeHacker.com

Having kids will put anyone in the mindset of looking for a good bargain at anytime of the year, which is why I found this article (The Best Things to Buy in May) from lifehacker.com to be very interesting. It's also why lifehacker happens to be one of my favorite sites to visit.

Some of these tips I already knew, like buying a house (or in our case, selling our house) and thrift items (spring cleaning, of course).

The list includes (spoiler alert!):

Televisions and other electronics
Houses
Cookware and Kitchen Accessories
Digital Cameras (something I should have done)
Thrift items
Vacuum cleaners
Office Furniture
Mattresses
Refrigerators

There is one that they haven't mentioned: Yard sales. If you live in more affluent neighborhoods, you would be surprised on what and how much people sell. I've gotten some new-looking baby supplies and a couple of decent bikes from yard sales.

If only I had seen this article first before I bought my camera, I may have put it off to see if I can get a better deal elsewhere.
