College is so expensive. Unfortunately, if you need to take courses that require hands-on experience, like brain surgery, then you are out of luck. Unless, of course, you somehow got a lot of scholarships or you are Bill Gates' kid. Then you would be lucky.

For the rest of us, it's time to question whether or not "the college experience" is really worth $50,000+ of debt that you may never be able to pay. Especially on subject that you can learn yourself.

There are a few sites that I have checked out that you might find interesting. First is Math. We all know how important math is right? Well, if you feel like you've fallen behind, a good place to start is Khan Academy.

Not what you are looking for?  How about a course in Biological Engineering or Musical and Theater Arts at MIT Opencourseware?

Or you can do a search for Economics and Finance in Coursera.

There are a lot more places to take a look, but these three are the ones that I have checked out and as soon as I get done with web development, I may take a look for some courses to "minor" in. Be sure to check some of the related articles (the only thing I get from them is a pingback) for more places to check out.
